I think we in the west have had so many years of peace and plenty that many folks have forgotten what a war is.
Back in WW2 and WW1 Germany and Britain actively blockaded each other, hit civilian infrastructure and took the gloves off to make the other guy lose, Britain blockaded France during the wars against napoleon. War is ugly, it took destroying Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end WW2.
It’s what people do when a real war kicks off. Hamas are playing by the old rules and Israel is using the same instruction manual.
It’s ugly, it’s messy but it’s a reminder of how fragile and precious the peace we have enjoyed for so long really is.

These ships can provide humantarian assistance also. But they will mainly be there as intellgience support vessels
Are they going to support Israel when thousands die due to starvation and water shortage, which is imminent? This seems unnecessary.
How about deploy those Royal Navy ships to solve all the knife crimes in London rather than go and oppress some more Palestinians as if Israel and America isn’t already enough? But no, England needs to be on top of the world and then wonder why they get so much hate.
