Excellent – but that doesn’t change the decision to allow Russians to compete as “individual neutral athletes.”.
We know most of the successful athletes train under the hood of the military, we’ve seen them show Z-symbols, we’ve seen them being used for propaganda back home.
Parts of the committee have a reason to not just stop this nonsense. My guess is that there’s money involved, or compromat.
Good. Russia should have been permanently thrown out of the IOC years ago, for repeated violations and acts of bad faith.

Man they even got their new team name suspended. Hopefully that means that even if they are there (which is not ideal) they can’t enter as a group in the opening ceremony or have Muscovian federation colors on their uniforms.
The UN should have such teeth when Russia violated the UN charter so fundamentally.
