   inb4 the german appologist crowd tries to convince anyone the gepard is the next best thing since sliced bread in drone defense.

   how come shahed drones still hit shit of importance which the gepard is assigned to defend? (hint; it’s because the thing doesn’t work)

   anyone thinking the gepard is adequate at the role its used for in ukraine, should consider there’s far more capable drone defense systems, some of which are even produced in germany, that’s being witheld because you think the gepard functions in the percieved role and havn’t peskered your governments for supplying something that isn’t a 47 ton, non datalink capable, literal fucking tank chassis you can’t move very far over roads without deep loaders that completely sucks at everything it ever was supposed to do as it’s a piece of equipment envisioned in the god damn ’60s to counter jets which had to literally fly overtop of you to drop ordonance back in those days.
