“‘Think of the Gaza Strip as one layer for civilians and then another layer for Hamas. We are trying to get to that second layer that Hamas has built,’ an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson said”
I question an article that says there were 2500 tunnels to Egypt
The entire border with Egypt is 7 miles long
That would equate to 1 tunnel every 14 feet along the border
alright so assuming all tunnels are triple deckers, its still only 42 feet…
I wonder if there are military armed drones that could be used explore tunnels? Or am I reading too many SciFi books?
Whole lot of seawater right there. Start pumping those tunnels full.
GAZA is going to be raze to the Ground!!!
Madness in the Middle-East
In the footage of the bombings, you’ll notice that many of the blasts are throwing up huge amounts of soil. Those are most likely bombs fused to go off beneath the surface and collapse the tunnels. Luckily for nearby civilians, this also mitigates the shockwaves and shrapnel resulting from the explosion, but by that same method it also completely fucks the foundations of any buildings in the area, so it still sucks tremendously.
