Isreal really pushing the support of the international community to its very limits it seems.. this is going to be a blood bath.
Hamas is about to find out after f#ck around
Looks like the understandable desire to eliminate Hamas is now a very good pretext for ethnic cleansing. Fully backed by the west a la Shapp’s disgraceful comments today on Israel doing all it can to minimise civilian deaths and that moving a million people, including thousands of casualties, in 24 hours is fine. Assume a portion of the million will survive the Israeli invasion and be forced to south Gaza, where terrible conditions will force them to leave to permanent refugee camps in the Arab world. Followed by new Israeli settler settlements on the bones of the dead. But hey they’ll be pretty and perhaps attract new coastal tourism for Israel.
Guess attention will turn to ‘sorting’ out East Jerusalem after that, following careful conversations with key western leaders, to ensure their electoral interests aren’t too damaged by the timing.
Hurry up and send ground troops. I made a bet on it by this week and need the cash
We are going to look back on this one day like we look back at the holocaust or Rwandan genocide. Both started off as nationalist calls for revenge, and both were escalated by far right elements.
Palestinians should not be punished for the crimes of terrorists just like Jews shouldn’t have been punished for what the Bolsheviks did (which was really only tangentially related to Jews in retrospect)
Nothing has happened yet. “bloody” is sensationalism, not journalism.
I dont buy the bs story that they didn’t know hamas was launching an attack of that scale, they let them do it, so they have 100% justifiable reason to lvl the shit out of gaza once and for all.
More than half the internet supporting an imminent massacre on innocent civilians being targeted under the guise of “terrorists”.
We saw this happen after 9/11 because our leaders told us Bin Laden was in Afghanistan – how did that turn out? Taliban was eradicated no?
We saw this happen with Iraq, our leaders told us there were WMD.
And yet after countless examples through history, we still can’t stop to think our leaders may be lying to us or egging us on.
Is there any confirmation to this?
I see nothing in any of the trusted channels or social media about artillery shelling right now.
You can be assured when they do start shelling – and they will – the ground invasion is about to begin, but by all indications this hasn’t happened yet.
30 secs per round is nothing compared to what is going on in Russia-Ukraine war. 2 round per min works out to 2880 rounds a day. Compare that to Russia’s 20000 round a day shelling in some areas.
Misleading. The ground attack hasn’t begun, so how is it bloody yet? Sigh, sensationalist article titles to get clicks …. ridiculous.
When the IDF do go in, it will be a bloody campaign, with many IDF falling, but they will prevail. I do feel for the innocent Palestinians who don’t support hamas, but are stuck there. This is going to be a hellish fight, meaning building to building and endless ambushes. We have to assume that hamas has prepared for this. The IDF will win, but at a hellish cost. When they do take Gaza, they won’t ever let it go again.
