This Government doing what they do best. Failing at every turn
So, he’s failed then? When can we expect his resignation and that of the rest of the government?
So what you did didn’t work , brilliant. I’m sure some people are richer
“So here’s a cut in inheritance tax that will mainly benefit the richest 1% of society.”
Sounds like political positioning. Say things are bad now, say you’ll make them better through X, Y, Z. Then hey presto just before there’s an election next year you say things have gotten better all thanks to the tough decisions you took, and here you go have a tax cut.
Weren’t we told by him and Sunak that the plan was working?
So what do you want for Xmas then? Can I have some right wing ideological poverty please Santa?
Low growth and rapidly rising costs in pensions and healthcare. Pensions went from £53 billion in 2008 to about £135 billion in 2024.
He has no options and we have one, try a different government.
So, we expecting more cuts to services since the numbers are worse. I feel like he is setting up for austerity again.
I sense some Tory supporters are holding onto the memory of the surprise upset of 1992 general election as hope of them being able to win the election next year.
The economy is in dire condition, way worse than it was in 1992. So after what will be 14 years of failure by every measurement these charlatans and chancers will finally be booted out of government.
Spring…blame truss and punish us for the greater good and to make it great again
Autumn…hmmm
Well, they’ve got £60,000,000,000 for give aways now that HS2 has been cancelled and the “other projects” suggested for that capital have turned out to be fairy dust, so there will be some tax cuts for the rich coming up.
“There’s no magic money tree, Jeremy!”
But Inheritance tax and tax cuts for the rich are fully funded
