  1. Is there any sense in which this works to the benefit of consumers? I am not an expert by anyone’s definition.

  2. I’m a simple redditor, I see “69” in the title, I post “Nice.”

    Nice.

  3. This is more a face saving tactic by the Brits as this merger was going ahead regardless. If the Brits still “refused” the merger clearance and it still happened then everybody would realise how irrelevant the Brits now have become. British industry had teeth when part of the EU but now it is an illusion.

  4. Blizzard is already irreparably ruined as a company as far as I’m concerned.

  5. Lmfao hilarious how we caved so easily.

Corporations really are the worlds new rulers, governments have no power at all. Wonder how much M$ paid them.

  6. Good to hear that Microsoft’s cheque has finally cleared!

  7. What the article should read is.

“Microsoft located the correct person(s) and bribe amount to allow the sale to go ahead.

Alhtough MS did offer to pull all products from the UK if it didn’t go through.

  8. >Playstation fans slate Xbox for years for having no games.

    >Microsoft goes out and acquires game studios to produce games, same way Sony has.

    > Playstation fans :This is outrageous! It’s unfair!

  9. Cool if you like Activision Blizzard’s IPs and price rises.

  10. I sold Activision stock 9 months ago to find something and forgot to ever buy back :’)

  11. Call of duty is falling off year by year. Let Microsoft have Activision. Sony also has 10 years of cod, so more than enough time to come up with a better existing/new ip.
