Getting 12 years for killing a mother of two *and* her unborn child is unduly lenient.
Increasing the sentence to 15 years is *still* unduly lenient.
An utterly pathetic sentence considering the lives he has ruined.
The TL;DR.
This woman was on the hard shoulder with a punctured tyre when this bellend barrelled into her at an estimated 92mph when undertaking a motorbike.
Sentence increased from 12 to 15 years. I assume he’ll be out in half that if he keeps his nose clean.
Meanwhile we have 1 dead woman, 1 dead unborn clild, and her 2 other children without a parent. What a despicable man this is.
I don’t thin the fact it was a pregnant mother should make any difference to the ruling, whenever someone is killed like this, the perpetrator should serve a suitable sentence that and it should make no difference if the person killed is male or female, old or young…
There are genuine unavoidable accidents, and there are cases of extreme recklessness that leads to loss of life, this is clearly the latter and anyone who does it should get the book thrown at them.
