At least you’re in no danger of falling out of bed.
Including a window? Look at that luxury…..
Amateur hour. Could’ve fitted a double bunk bed.
This is surley against tenancy laws. Stuff like thos needs to be reported. The landlord letting this is unlikely to be registered, or have insurance or pay taxes. If the correct taxes not paid get Revenue involved they are good a collecting what’s owed.
Doublebed room I think.
whats the rent?
Easy to heat I suppose…
We need to make it illegal/not allowed to advertise places that don’t meet the minimum standards for rentals. Estate agents and Daft are making a fortune helping landlords break the rules and it needs to stop.
Prison cell is more spacious and has an en suite. 👍🏻
Not the worst
It is technically a room with a double bed. I guess this is a case where being technically correct is not the best kind of correct. Unless you are a landlord.
Photographer probably sitting on the toilet.
Have fun changing the sheets.

That’s a quality mattress tbf
I paid 500 dollars a month in 2010 to rent an exact basement replica of this room in Boston complete with rats running through the walls right by my head. No windows or anything.
I can just imagine the builder measuring the bed frame to work out where to put the wall. Wouldn’t be surprised if this was in a row running the length of the house, with the final room having a foot extra room and double the rent.
When even the fisheye lense can’t make the room seem bigger.
Be sure to start skipping leg day if you want to get in and out of the bed.
Do you get to pick the person in other half of the bed or is that already taken?
Wow, a window. I don’t think I can afford this place.
Ah they’ve put the space in the wrong place. It should be “double-bed room” as it it has room for a double-bed… and nothing else
I’d have got 2x bunks in there
I’m upset just thinking about fitting the sheets lol
Hold long before we see a bunkbed in there?
arrg, replace with a single bed!
I bet there is an identical room right beside it.
Clearly it was one room then they threw a wall in there to try and double its value.
Thank god no one is doing anything about this. You really can’t solve a housing crisis over night.

Prison cells are bigger, **and** you get a guaranteed three meals a day.
Double means double-priced ?
Not even a overhead light to compensate for lack of bedside locker & lamp
I lived in a room exactly this in London for a year after college. It stank
I was offered a similar room when I started my PhD. There was only enough room to open the door. They had a tiny IKEA table setup in the sitting room which opened into the kitchen and said I could do my work from there. Madness.
We need a minimum standards of dimensions at what can be defined as a double bedroom , being able to fit a bed in a room shouldn’t count , only surprised they didn’t fit a double bunk bed in here for the lols
“Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed”
“There’s only one side”
I lived there for 3 years it was great
“cosey”
A double bed room. Lol
Let me guess – €1300 😔
Double refers to how much it costs now compared to 5 years ago
You could have put bunk beds in there wasted opportunity
If the Irish only knew how the Japanese live
You could fit a laptop on the window sill. It’s just been upgraded to a “double bedroom/office”. Another 200 a month please.
Are there any more photos? What’s behind the camera?
C/W 15′ ladder for easy access in/out of the window.
