Yup they’ll throw it on that too.
I asked some in a Circle K why the price of diet coke 500mls went up in price and was the same as the the original coke 500mls and was told its increased because of the “Sugar Tax”
Found of it recently you need to be over 18 to buy non alcoholic beer, and it’s included in the ban on alcohol sales before 12 on Sundays.
I’ll be disappointed but unsurprised if non alcoholic drinks do get hit with a price increase. Its high enough already.
Tried it over the xmas did not taste good, 4 cans down the sink. 🙁
I don’t think it will (or at least not right away) seeing as it’s already priced above what would be the MAP for a regular 4 pack of guinness, unless it’s cheaper than €7 or so.
Why would anyone buy this? Really, I do not understand, like do people like the taste enough to pick it over other drinks even though there are no affects?
I’ll never get the attraction to alcohol free beer. Is it nostalgia for recovering alcoholics? Some kind of placebo effect you can shake off for the drive home? Date rapists so they can pretend to be getting drunk with everyone else? You’d think by removing the alcohol they could make it taste nice.
So without the alcohol, it’s just dirty water?
Hot take – these brands only have 0 alcohol varieties so they can sponsor sport events. They have practically 0 interest in you actually buying them and the price is intentionally pegged alongside the alcoholic versions
Prob will. As a preggo I can tell you that mocktails in some places are as much as a fecking cocktail, for literal juice. 😑
