After the Hamas attack and before Israel even responded there was pro Palestine protests. This ” speech ” is blatantly intolerance towards Israel and Jews. A tolerant people cannot tolerate intolerance. I reluctantly think France is doing the right thing.
Just want to add, I highly doubt France would ban anti Hamas protests that could genuinely be in support of peace and not genocide.
For me, what was done on Saturday justifies the complete and total destruction of Hamas and their support and infrastructure. If they don’t want Gaza destroyed, then all they have to do is give up the hostages, surrender every single member and supporter of Hamas and quit firing rockets into Israel. Pretty simple so get with Hamas and make it happen Red Cross.
It doesn’t. It’s a good thing Israel’s stated goal is to destroy Hamas – not Gaza.
It does.
Israel will not allow a regime it has 0% chance to be at peace with to exist near its borders
Israel’s goal is to remove a terrorist organisation from governing Gaza and to ensure that terrorist organisation does not have the capability to carried out large scale attacks in the future. I don’t see what’s wrong with that. God knows how many countries bombed Mosul and Raqqa to remove Isis from there, but I don’t recall people saying “Don’t bomb Isis in Mosul, leave Isis to govern for the sake of the infrastructure.” The destruction of Gaza will depend on Hamas and what they want to do next.
Hamas should surrender then it will be a non issue.
What Hamas did was unprecedented, which means Israel’s response needs to be unprecedented.
Israel should take as much input from the Red Cross when it comes to their offensive operations as Hamas does. When Hamas is a government in exile, Israel is going to invite the Red Cross into Gaza to help in the aftermath. In a world where Hamas got to have their way with Israel, do we think Hamas would invite the Red Cross/Red Crescent into Israel after they were done? Would there be anyone left to help?
The Red Cross helped Russia smuggle kidnapped Ukrainian children into Belarus. They are no moral authority.
Hamas will be destroyed. If The Red Cross has a problem with that, then that’s just too bad.
With all due respect to the Red Cross, they are not in charge of protecting innocent citizens from terrorist attacks, so this should be filed under the Noted folder for the time being.
If all Israel wanted to do was destroy Gaza, there would be no ground invasion.
Lol who gives a fuck what the Red Cross has to say about this
Whatever side you’re on, the destruction of innocents is deplorable. The non-Hamas people of Gaza have nowhere to go.
I remember when Red Cross vehicles were used to smuggle weapons into the Palestinian territories
I’m really not interested in hearing anyone tell Israel what NOT to do unless they can suggest something more effective to be done. And don’t give me vague long-term things like “find a peaceful solution” or “negotiate” as these have not been effective for the past 50 years.
It’s not often I’ll say that the Red Cross are wrong, but they are here. The Hamas attack absolutely justifies Israels response. Anything less is just asking for a second round.
It justifies wiping out Hamas, that is what Israel is trying to do and we should all be supporting them. The people of Gaza will never have anything like decent lives with peace and safety whilst Hamas are there. If you support the people of Gaza you would support removal of Hamas.
People on reddit are utterly psychopathic.
What is weird in this whole story is that no Sunni Nation is stepping up to provide relief. You would think that Sunni Nation would step up and ask Palestine to purge Hamas in exchange for help.
Even Egypt, another Sunni nation, isn’t allowing in any refugees.
Whaaaaaaaaaat…
The people who justify wiping out Gaza because of Hamas doings, do you also justify wiping out of Israel because of their army doings
Red Cross CEO makes 600K per annum, and their expenses/overhead is 30 to 35%. There were various reports. They eat money, and talks about charity!
The alternative is to let Hamas rape and torture 150 hostages 10 times a day for the next 50 years, sending the videos to the contact list in the hostages’ phones.
>”When military powers order people to leave their homes, all possible measures must be taken to ensure the population has access to basic necessities like food and water and that members of the same family are not separated.”
Isn’t this what the Red Cross is for?
The Red Cross should focus on helping the captives. They shouldn’t help people who won’t help themselves.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Wtf did Hamas think was going to happen?
I don’t understand their end game at all.
Is the Red Cross going to stop the terrorist attacks and the rocket fire to Israel?
I feel like we are missing a larger issue here. There is a reason no one wants these people inside their borders. Reddit can blag on about how the poor Palestinians are suffering, but Egypt and Jordan can all attest as to why it’s a bad idea to let, even the civilians, into your country as they are radicalized.

This is the worlds larges, “fuck around and find out.”
No but it does justify rooting out Hamas in every sq inch of Gaza.
Fuck Hamas for using civilians as shields and fuck all the Pro-Hamas people in other countries who cause all problems and kill peoples since this incident
The issue is Israel is indiscriminately killing Palestinian civilians when (get me here) they’re not HAMAS and are just normal people trying to get by.
