    Aliyev openly brags about how they will invade Armenia by force:

    Their defense ministry talks about how they want to conquer Armenia:

    At the same time Azerbaijan has brazenly bragged about how they are now formal allies with Russia, but nobody seems to notice or care.

    They signed military alliance with Russia on February 22, 2022, one day after Russia annexed Luhansk and Donetsk, and two days before Russia began the invasion of Ukraine.

    They reaffirmed this alliance on May 25, 2023, emphasizing about how it is both de jure and de facto, how they are getting even closer in a high-level meeting with Putin:
