  1. To save others from the outrage headline:

She was a paramedic who got badly injured while treating a patient. Got addicted to opiad painkillers, ended up with a heroin addiction. Got pulled over by a member of the public (?!) on the mallow road. She’s now recovering from her addiction, hence the suspended sentence.

All in all sounds like the best possible outcome if she can stay off the stuff and be a functional human.

  2. My brother did 6 months in prison and came out with a heroin addiction. Who’s this judge, and can he move his hole to Limerick?
