This sub is becoming /r/Germany. Literally every second post is related to Germany.
I am pretty sure it is about the same in Ukraine. I would expect it to be pretty universal thing.
That’s very late for primetime. Here it’s more after 7pm since the main news is at 6.
In France, the news also begins at 20:00h, but the prime time begins at 21:00!
In Flanders other channels gave up on programming anything actually decent from 18h30 until 20h00. The tandem Blokken (dumb television quiz on since 1994) – news – short human interest program (Man Bijt Hond – Iedereen Beroemd) is just too strong.
They start competing with the soap that starts at 20h00.
Here in Italy prime time starts between 21:00 and 21:45, because in the 90’s Canale 5 (the biggest non-public channel) started airing a comedy-news programme called “Striscia la Notizia” after the real news, at 20:30.
Its weird reading all of these posts about people watching schdueled TV, and talking about prime time. I haven’t had cable in more then a decade and most of the people that I know also stopped watching any sort of listed programming. Most watch streaming services.
From reading a lot of the posts this is still big in Europe, can people confirm this?????
