Obviously, one shouldn’t cross a stop line (solid line) when a traffic light turns red. But I am not sure what are the rules when it comes to the yield line (the line formed by triangles) placed after a traffic light. Is one supposed to stop at such yield line, if one knows that a traffic light was yellow when the stop light was crossed? Or should one continue to finish crossing the intersection? To understand what I am talking about, here is an example of such intersection: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/RMk4fcPPPvqBDfbh9](https://maps.app.goo.gl/RMk4fcPPPvqBDfbh9)
I found myself in situation where as I was crossing the stop line by a traffic light, I noticed that the light switched from green to yellow. So, I didn’t have time to stop and had to continue. But then when I came to the yield line, after the traffic light, I stopped for a couple of seconds by [this yield line](https://maps.app.goo.gl/NYMLdDH3okBs7q6w9) as there was a car in front of me slowly finishing the crossing (it was during a rush hour) and I wasn’t sure if I should continue to finish crossing the intersection or stop by that yield line knowing that the traffic light behind me had turned red. I noticed that, if I stopped by that yield line I wouldn’t know when the traffic light would turn back from red to green, since the traffic light was behind me. So, I decided to finish crossing the intersection. Now, I am wondering if I would get a fine for red light crossing or not. There was a camera, but I didn’t notice it flashing.

Think about it as if you were in the other car. By the time you’re at the yield line, the other driver is already moving and they’re driving under fully green light conditions, after crossing a green light. You cannot expect them to stop. You have to yield in this situation.
The road markings (and the corresponding sign on top of the traffic light) are to be disregarded while the traffic light is in operation. They only have to be followed when the traffic light is shut down (blinking yellow, or off completely)
AFAIK: The yield line is there for when the traffic lights aren’t operating. So if you pass the stop line even at yellow you should go completly through.
