We moved to Norway few month ago with my wife from an EU country. I’m working in cyber security, my wife is pharmacist with master degree.
My question is as the title says, where is it possible to find jobs as a pharmacist is Norway? All the big chains Apotek1, Vitusapotek, Boots have their foreign recruitment programs, yet when we checked vacant pharmacist positions or job advertisements in different sites ([finn.no](https://finn.no), linkedin, [webcruiter.com](https://webcruiter.com), indeed) we were barely able to find any. Specifically in Trondheim – since we live here – there was only 1 available position.
What are we missing? Why everybody is saying there is a lack of pharmacists in Norway and why are these foreign recruitment programs if there are no vacant positions?
P.S.: She is learning norwegian at the moment, we know it is required, I just would like to know what are our future perspectives.

Keep an eye on the job market and be patient. Almost all jobs advertised end up on Finn.
Make sure she applies for authorisation at [Helsedirektoratet](https://www.helsedirektoratet.no/english/authorisation-and-license-for-health-personnel) is she hasn’t already.
I’m not sure about Norway, but in Sweden it’s a protected title which requires a license from the authorities to practice and knowledge in Swedish, Norwegian or Danish.
