  1. ah wow, totally unexpected, no one could have ever predicted this, fascism on the rise, nazi racism authoritarian bla bla bla

  2. Not true. Small party still, with several surprisingly high election results.

  3. What is the main reason for this? I understand Europe is shifting to the right but surely there’s something specifically German?

  4. That’s misinformation. You misrepresented a poll of about 1000 people as actual size of parties. And of course it was posted from a 1 month old Polish account.

  5. Still not the time for regulated immigration and stronger schengen borders?

  6. I expect it to grow even more in time to come. I have few German friends who are pretty liberal/central,but they are seriously considering voting for AfD which makes sense considering how deep Germany has fallen.

  7. Its nice to color code them blue, too.
    Regards,
    An Austrian.

  8. Say goodbye to any progress with bikelanes and public transport and green energy

  9. März: Alice my friend, let’s have chat about free dental healthcare for them refugees ….

  10. Why do people think that far right extremists will fix their issues ? Do german schools not teach european history ? When has a far right party ever truly done something helpful at any point ? I’m not saying centrists or the left are saints, but at least their platform isn’t based entirely on exploiting people’s fears through half-truths and lies.

  11. And the government is still doing nothing against the immigration crisis in our nation.

Let it be known that it’s the fault of this government. The AfD would have never been so strong if this government would have been decisive and rutheless in terms of immigration and integration. The billions we’ve wasted on this “refugee crisis” could have been spent on so many better things for the German people.

Nope. Instead we get people like FM Baerbock still defending “*humanitarian aid*” payments to Palestinians while German Jews in Berlin can’t walk around safely anymore and have went into hiding.

Grow some balls and do what needs to be done for fuck sake. Listen to Poland on this for once. They were so fucking right about all of this.

  12. How can they still do surveys with 60% landline? Literally no one under 40 I know has a landline anymore.

Besides that, If the AfD ever comes into power it is the right and obligation of every German citizen to make use of article 20(4) of the constitution.

  13. oh hey its time for the weekly “AfD keeps growing in polls and everyone is *shocked*” post lol

they’ll just keep growing until the established parties get their head of their asses and start at least acknowledging the issues at hand. which might never actually happen based on their recent behaviour

  14. As much as greens get shit on by the media I’m surprised they stayed consistent

  15. They’re too pro-Russian, too economically neoliberal, and too incompetent in general, but the rest of the parties are plain evil (and Wagenknecht is a different can of worms, though she might have been better than AfD).

  16. No, they aren’t: this is a poll. Let’s hope the sensible political parties start to pay attention to their voters.

And, it must be said, let’s hope that German voices of reason are heard over the current cacophony of racist nonsense that’s swelling up out of the gutter since last week and before.

  17. Germany will end up in the same scenario as Sweden. The centre-right wing block will lose so many votes to Afd that there won’t be any real probability of them ever winning the governance. So they’ll have to cave to Afd and atleast give them some influence or straight up accept them into the cabinet.

  18. Where’s the surprise?
    The bigger, the better.
Enforce the LAW!!! TIGHTER IMMIGRATION LAWS!
    Protrct borders!

  19. who the fuck lets themselve getting asked via telephone “who would you vode”?? this is just another survey taken by morons…

  20. This is what happens when the current government refuses to discuss the main issues
If you want to win you should do something(Or give the impression that you do

  21. Can anyone explain what the driving force behind their support force is it due to the Russian invasion and the migration that followed?

  22. Important note: the afd typically gets way better results in polls than in the actual election (they are still getting to much votes in the actual election)

  23. I’m not surprised by the rise of the AfD: All the other parties proved more than just once that they just ignore the migration problem and don’t want to deal with it. They tell the people, they want to deal with it, but in the end nothing happens.

Like CDU/CSU with Merz, he says he’ll deal with the problem, but the people know, in the end he’ll betray them again and form a coalition with the Green or others, which means, there will be no change. In some states, they are already in coalitions, they’d do the same on federal level when it would be possible in the next election.

  24. After AfD comes to power, it should arrest all the pro-immigration politicians and NGOs.

  25. Afd. I had really hoped Germany of all countries would be smarter than that. But no, full of people who don’t want to see more than disruption no matter the consequences.

There are soooooo many parties to vote for to just fuck with the establishment but no, they have to go to the nazi parade. Education has failed

  26. After literally a generation out of power… how did SDP screw things up so quickly?

Is it just the circumstances? The war? The inflation crisis?

Or are Germans really a right wing/center right country and just wanted change after so long with the last government?

  27. Im just surprised people think the AfD will do what they think they’ll do. It’ll be just like any other right-wing govt like in Poland, Italy or Hungary: not touch the immigration policies, increase the import of foreign workers without any filter and just to show they have done something they’ll judicially attack LGBT+ people, in the AfDs case probably demonize trans people or if things get worse than excepted they’ll even attack gay marriage.

This is what RW gov’ts do, there has been no exception thus far.

  28. It’ll be the biggest soon, if German people’s wishes continue to be ignored.

  29. In the polls. I will reserve judgement until 2025, when we will see how much those polls actually mean. Remember that parties often overperform in polls prior to the election – the Greens reached 29% at one point in 2021, then got under 15% a few months later.

  30. Watch this explode if current protests and terror attacks in EU continue..

  31. No, they arent. That would be the CDU.
Polls mean nothing nowadays. Were not even in Bundestag election season yet.

  32. Clickbait bullshit…they asked just 1300 people from the actual over 80.000.000 people living in germany

  33. what baffles me here the most is that 60% of the phone-polled people used a phoneline, I dunno about Germany but here nobody under like 85 still uses a landline phone, they polled fucking dinosaurs.
