Is there a least intimidating antagonist than the Daleks? Still, didn’t stop them from scaring the **** out of me on a Saturday night as a very young kid back in the 80s

1. It was the Cybermen who scared the living shit out of me as an 80s kid

   Daleks schmalek. I’m going to go up or down some stairs, you arsey gobshite wheelybins, and that’s you fucked isn’t it?

4. I didn’t find them intimidating until I went to my dad’s mates and there was a full sized one in the living room. A lot scarier in real life

5. I loved them in Invasion earth. Not scary tho. The cybermen were a bit, i clearly remember an episode where one kinda gets stuck inside a door, that was weird.

6. Old Kit Kat and with the Daleks at the beginning and very end. Not so scary when they’ve joined the Hare Krishna crowd!

7. Weeping angels and those puppet dudes from the episode where England was a starship dystopia

8. I think the Eccleston episode Dalek rehabilitated them for me and made them a real serious threat again.

15. The Horta from Star Trek Original Series is to adult eyes a man under a rug.

    It scared the living shit out of me as a kid and the only thing that I remember literally making me hide behind the sofa.
