A “mini-launcher” is nothing like the Falcon 9 though, nor Starship. Besides, Starship has not “achieved touchdown” as a whole rocket, only the upper part which is stupidly named the same as the whole rocket. The rocket hasn’t even taken off yet.
The French project is already behind schedule, it was supposed to have performed some engine tests by 2021 but it didn’t.
So like the DC-X. It doesn’t seem all that easy considering how long they’ve been at it.
