But isn’t this symptomatic of the issue? People will vote for the same old shite…every election.
What a low bar.
Dull and bland simultaneously. At least Leo has a bit of an edge about him.
He’s definitely handled the Israel Palestine conflict the best out of any of the current party leaders.
It’s like being asked would you prefer a punch or kick in the bollocks. Neither are very appealing

MickyNoJets? Really?
Mr Burns head on him.
Load of bollocks.
What? In nursing homes, maybe.

……Who are they polling?
And so say all of us.
>The poll took place between September 28 and October 10, with 933 people being surveyed.
With that sample size the Margin of Error is at least 3%, so not a statistically significant difference between them in the results.
I wonder is that why the article leaves the MoE and sample sources out?
Even the original article in the Sunday Times omits the MoE, and only has this to say:
>The fieldwork for this Sunday Times/Behaviour & Attitudes poll was conducted between September 28 and October 10. The results are based upon a representative sample of 933 eligible Irish voters aged 18 plus.
‘fieldwork’ can be interpreted in many ways and doesn’t automatically imply in-person surveys.
I wish there was mandatory reporting on the statistical ‘hygiene’ of these polls. It does matter.
We’ll never learn, apparently
Leader? over a decade in power and what has he achieved? Housing, healthcare, energy costs, defense, crime, policing, transport… the list goes on..and there’s been no leadership displayed on any of these subjects by Micheál.
OK, the first thing I’d ask is who was polled.
Regardless, we really do deserve everything we get. This guy was smack bang in the middle of a government that ruined a generation, and nothing he’s done since has convinced me that he, or his party, can be trusted.
Maybe it is a case of a low bar as else someone said, but it’s quite shocking to me.
I wouldn’t say Michael Martin is the most popular Michael even in his own party he’s absolutely delusional and so condescending.
