Israel gibt an, seit dem Angriff der Hamas am 7. Oktober 6.000 Bomben auf den Gazastreifen abgeworfen zu haben, was fast der Zahl der Bomben entspricht, die die USA in einem Jahr in Afghanistan eingesetzt haben.

3. For comparison, [up to 20,000 died](https://www.theguardian.com/afghanistan/comment/story/0,11447,718647,00.html) directly and indirectly as a consequence of the first four months of U.S. airstrikes on Afghanistan.

   So far according to Palestinian reports the death toll in Gaza is [around 2300](https://abcnews.go.com/International/live-updates/israel-gaza-hamas/?id=103804516). Plus the 1500 militants killed inside Israel on Sunday.

4. And yet, there’s only been ~2,000 killed as a result of the bombs (some of which are surely Hamas militants), meaning there’s only been about 1 death per 3 bombs dropped.

   That shows some pretty spectacular care to minimize civilian casualties, especially considering Hamas uses civilians as human shields.

   You have indeed the right to defend yourself, but this disproportional bombing is every dictators wet dream.

   I do hope hamas gets fucked so palestinians and israelis can be free of terror. But i dont see this conflict ending anytime soon. If any, i fear for more terror attacks in Israel.

   Israeli intelligence and army failed big time. I hope the ones responsible for this fuck up will get trialed.
