Why isn’t there a more direct train and autobahn in between Zürich and Ilanz? It would be 60% shorter

   I’m all in to pay taxes to dig tunnels though.

   When you think about it, we build roads where they’re the cheapest to make. But not once did we factor in all the extra fuel, wear, that the vehicles will need Because that’s not money paid by the confederation. And yet it still matters just as much.
