What is high-speed internet access like in these regions? Has the EU invested in it in Croatia as it did in rural parts of the UK before Brexit? This might sound like a foolish question, and I assume large parts of at least the non-EU countries have poor internet infrastructure, but I think there are lots of younger people who can work remotely and need to find affordable housing and safe countryside to raise new families. But without internet infrastructure that clearly can’t happen.
I don’t understand. EU membership will only accelerate this. Just look at Poland, Romania, Bulgaria.
