This is so misleading. It makes it sound like Trump gave Iran 6 billion. What Trump did is tell other countries they could still continue to purchase oil from Iran but Iran would not be paid for any of it. All the money would be sanctioned and held by South Korea. Trump would have never turned that money over like Biden did. This trying to blame Trump for everything is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t like the man either but my God, find somebody else to talk about please! Maybe if the media and the Democrats did not bring up Trump in every other breath he would not have the following that he does and he would just disappear into obscurity.
The story indicates Trump set up the circumstances for the 6 billion to be accumulated. Biden released it to get hostages in return. The fact remains, Trump had a role in this and it’s speculation he would not have eventually released the funds for the same reason.

Trump waived those restrictions on Iran after convincing Saudi Arabia to increase production, which collapsed the oil market and put most of the American oil industry out of business. But hey, cheap gas!
