In recent years, the price of food, housing and many other necessary things, such as electricity, telephone and water, has risen and will continue to rise with inflation still around 5.5% which eats away the value of money and with the increase of various crises on Earth, such as the recent losses of grain and orange crops. Do you believe that this will have an impact on the Finnish government’s decision on cuts in social security and general housing allowance and especially when, according to the new estimate, the impact of the cuts would be negative in terms of the livelihood and purchasing power of the poorest in Finland as a student, single parent, unemployed, gig worker, part-time worker or low-wage worker?
