China calls on Germany to not support Taiwan independence secessionist forces

  1. Germany to China: “This is an internal German matter for the German government and German people. China has no say on how the German government and people make their decisions.”

    PRC proceeds to be offended

  2. Imperialists separated China 100 years ago when China was weak. Today they want to do the same thing again to weak China, covered by some beautiful words. Not gonna happen honestly.

  3. China is trying to bully its way in the world. Taiwan is already an independent democracy and needs to be supported and protected. We must not the mainland Chinese turn Taiwan into another Hong Kong.

  4. Taiwan is different to Kosovo, non of European countries have officially recognised Taiwan (except the Holy See), and China is so sensitive that Taiwan is getting close to some EU member states, that is non sense.

The conclusion is that China lacks confidence in regards of this issue. China should have behave mature in handling its affairs.

This applies to Hong Kong as well, non European countries say that Hong Kong should be independent, but China is too sensitive.

  5. Please let us not heat up a conflict that we are not ready to fight in.

The status quo is stable and de facto Taiwan is completely independent. If we half-heartedly support Taiwan not only does it hurt us economically but the PRC may be inclined to take Taiwan because of it. And I don’t see a willingness of the west to fight this war.

To me, supporting Taiwan’s official status is something that sounds good in theory but will end in a preventable desaster.

  6. The hell you want from us? If winnie wants to annoy someone he should atleast stay in his part of the earth.

  7. I call on Germany to support the rightful and legitimate Republic of China lead by the Kuomintang and help their effort to reintegrate their occupied provinces on the mainland.

  8. So China is telling Germany what to do now? What will China do? Ban german imports, like they already did, banning german companies with lithuanian country of origin?
