  1. I have been following the Polish parliamentary elevtion polls for a long time and I have a question why the Left is not liked in Poland ?

  2. Even if pro-Western parties win, it still turns out that half of the parliament is the first and ultra-right. who will now sit in opposition. and be offended. it will be a very difficult parliament.

  3. When converted to seats in parliament:

    200 (PiS) vs. 248 (KO+TD+L)

231 is required to form a majority

  4. Is it possible that Duda will ask Morawiecki to form a minority govt?

The numbers are great, everyone seems to be happy but it feels like it’s not this simple and I’m still a little bit worried that they somehow will be able to cling to power.

  5. And people are still waiting in lines to vote in some places. Absolutely beautiful day for polish democracy.

  6. Let’s goooo.

Funny sidenote: Those closer to Germany seem to vote less for PiS. PiS’ anti-German rhetoric didn’t work. Populism failed.

  7. Let’s wait for actual polls. Need I remind you that Slovak elections were wrong with their prediction.

Conservative or right-wing parties tend to be not so popular so people are hesitant to admit voting for them when asked. However, their actual showings tend to be better than expected.

It was the case with Trump, then with SMER, among more recent occurrences.

  8. Im so fuckin confused, are people here cheering on for PIS!? am i fucking nuts or whats going on ehre

  9. Once again proving that “winning” is a profoundly stupid terminology to use to describe the results of a more-than-two-parties proportional electoral system.

  10. And just liek that poland has fallen. Enjoy ur immigrants and wokenes, poles really want to look like sweden. I guess hungary is the only eu country left that is sane. Sad day for poles indeed, hope my country come to its senses next year like NZ did
