Fascinating article. The duality of mimicking rule of law while using it as a polical weapon instead of creating processes that check it in the long term – if I understood correctly. Is there a difference, though? I mean, Anglo-saxon political culture perfected rule of law in a similar way, through everyday political discourse, didn’t they? But we chose to copy the end result expecting some mirroring behaviour, I Guess.
