1. I suspect we are going to see a huge decline in fertility rate everywhere faster than UN projections, except may be Africa.

6. This should really be top of mind for people who think immigration will solve population issues in other places. Immigration from where? Most places are in the same boat just farther away from where the iceberg hit

7. It’s worse in India if you look at individual states btw, there’s a couple of them pushing up the average. My state is at 1.4 (lower than the US, UK, Canada etc).

8. South India is much more developed, has huge coastline and decreasing pop, while North India especially up and Bihar are main contributors to pop
