NATO needs some amendments. Such a small percentage of nation(mostly hungary and turkey) should not be allowed to stop new members from joining because they want something. Blackmail is illegal in most NATO countries. Extortion.
Personally…. let Turkey have the F16s if they turn over the S400s they bought from RuZZia to Ukraine and ratify Swedens entry to NATO
I am Swedish. I am fully ok with skipping NATO and keeping todays defensive agreements with neighboring countries and EU.
Not that I don’t want to be a NATO member, I fully and wholeheartedly want us to be NATO members….. but…

Each country should just declare that they will not commit to Article 5 for Turkey until they start acting like a member of the alliance. To be honest, I can’t see many countries being that bothered about helping them at the moment.
Well… get the agreement on paper on providing the F16’s and get Sweden ratified. As soon as that is done the actually delivery date of the F16’s can be discussed again, isn’t it? Turkish style? At first they were okay with ratification (just after Erdogans election) and now they come with new demands…. Well.. this won’t be the last new/change in demands in the upcoming months. Never trust a Turk especially not an Islamic hardliner as Erdogan.
