  1. > The government has said it is not trying to stigmatise any community

Why do I feel like that’s not going to be the case.

  2. What a novel concept. Screening people to make sure they’re a good fit for your culture.

  3. Didnt they do this before granting visas and asylums? Sounds like a lot of hot air

  4. >Just three days after the murder of a teacher in the northeastern city of Arras, stabbed to death by a former student with a record of Islamic radicalisation, France has raised its anti-terrorism alert to the highest level.

    >At the request of President Emmanuel Macron, the French administration is to carry out a review to determine which foreigners with a record of radicalism can be expelled from the country.

  5. To be honest it’s virtue signaling and to show how tough France is, after pulling French troops out of Mali who were tasked with fighting terrorism in the country.

Its easier to curb free speech in France than to send more weapons to Ukraine.

  6. Every country should do this. Deportation should be the consequence of exporting polluted ideology to western society.. Its just too bad that our legal systems are not equipped to handle this expeditiously and effectively.

  7. Too little, too late. This should’ve been happening for the past couple decades or so.

  8. And if the country they are from doesn’t want them back, what then?

  9. Honestly every Western country should be doing this. We don’t need terrorists or would be terrorists coming and fucking shit up. Wanna be radical? Go do it in your backwards ass countries you came from.

  10. This is still very vague. What does having a radical record mean?

  11. Crazy how they didn’t do this during the terror spree targeting Europeans in the mid 2010s but now that Israel got attacked they’ll do it. Really shows who pulls the strings.

  12. Imagine a world where all colonialist resistance fighters are labeled terrorists. Then you filter out all affiliation with those resisting colonialism. Where do those people go?

  13. France realizes should WW3 start in earnest, they would have a large fifth column to deal with

  14. Should have been doing so for decades now. France has experienced multiple terrorist attacks during the last decade and this screening policy might have worked in their favor if it was implemented.
