  1. 🙏 we need more of this from religions and less of that other thing 🙏🕊️

  2. He must be aware that he’s going to be slaughtered but hey, I absolutely respect what he’s doing because he’s dying for his next.

  3. Ok wowww. The first time I’ve ever seen a useful purpose of religion.

  4. I’m no longer religious, but this guy clearly seems to have understood Christ’s message. Reminds me of Bonhoeffer’s “Cost of Discipleship”.

  5. I watched *Kingdom of Heaven* last night and now reality is feeling very blurry.

  6. Hamas is unlikely to agree to this. 200 hostages maybe enough to stop Israel ground operation, this man is likely not.

  7. How exactly will they get him to gaza? He must be really hard to move with those GIANT FUCKING BALLS.

  8. I honestly think those around 80% of the hostages are dead. Hamas just stays quiet because it will look bad.

  9. Reminds me of St Maximillian Kolbe during the Holocaust

  10. How about this piece of news:

Catholic patriarch accepted for exchange by hamas leaders.

Touched by this holy man kindness they descover the true path and he converts them all to catholicism.

After a week of peace a new Inquisition is established.

    Crusades begin.

    Profit.

  11. Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa angling for sainthood.

    This is deep kindness.

  12. This is where I want my faith to lead me. What a great man.

  13. I doubt Hamas will accept the offer, but if they do, they are gonna slaughter him. He has massive balls.

  14. Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Patriarch of Jerusalem, is actually offering to do what Jesus would do and I’m crying.

    *edited to add his name

  15. Can’t Israel and Palestinians just solve this conflict over a Fortnite Battle Royal, supervised by the UN

  16. we can throw in some corrupt US politicians as well

  17. Damn, i never thought of actual religious leaders speaking on this Holy War. All I hear are politicians and fighters.

  18. The red attire was chosen for Cardinals to symbolize the blood of martyrdom, that they were to be ready to pour out their lives for Christ, nailed and sacrificed with Him to the Cross for the redemption of mankind.

Precious Blood of Christ, offered on the altars of all the churches of the world, grant us peace and pardon!

  19. This is an example of living what you believe in and what you preach. Color me impressed.

  20. Something to note is that probably most of those hostages aren’t Catholics. That is a noble compromise, me being a non catholic

  21. Hamas took the hostages for leverage against Israel. If they accept this swap they lose all leverage. So it’s not going to happen. Still a fucking chad move by this guy though.
