  1. Republican candidates want us to think they’re strong enough to stand up to terrorists and rogue state leaders, yet they are too cowardly to take questions from a teenager.

As an aside, I wish more so-called journalists would ask tough questions like this young man.

  2. >On Sunday afternoon, Quinn, of Walpole, N.H., declined an interview request from The Washington Post, citing stress from a homework assignment.

  3. I mean, the child was trying to LEARN!

Of course the GOP found that unacceptable.

  4. From the linked article:

““I know who you are,” Quinn remembered her saying. “You’re a tracker.”
Quinn said he was confused, unsure of what a tracker was. Later, he learned that the woman — an event volunteer — had accused him of being a Democratic operative tasked with recording Republicans’ campaign appearances.”

Why would this be a problem? Are GOP members saying potentially offensive things when they believe they’re only among other GOP members …. oh wait.

  5. An entire political party outsmarted by a 15 year old kid.

  6. Presidential debates should be moderated by this bright young citizen.

  7. The big and bad, gun loving republicans can’t handle tough questions from a 15 year old….

    Education isn’t the republicans thing…

  8. The GOP read at a 3rd-4th grade level. They can’t handle a 15 year old. I think 10/11 is the cut off.

  9. From the article…

    >In an email, New Hampshire GOP spokesman Jimmy Thompson told The Post that “an overzealous volunteer mistakenly made the decision to have Quinn removed from the event, thinking he was a Democrat tracker.

Pretty much everything I’ve seen points to the GOP’s nearly universal certainty that everyone who asks questions that expose their hypocrisy and/or animosity toward voters is a “democratic operative” … especially since that seems to be the current fundamental basis of GOP politics.

I hope that voters prove them to actually be right on that certainty.

  10. Republicans: we want to appeal to the younger audience to get their vote, also republicans: tough questions? GTFO

  11. Here’s your “free speech absolutists”, folks.

A bunch of snowflakes who melt the second real questions are asked, so they cry foul and demand you be silenced. Further proof that any cretin arguing about “freeze peach”, “marketplace of ideas” or “town square” really just wanted an excuse to use slurs and not face any consequences. They don’t give a damn about the principles beyond that, and certainly don’t care if they violate *your* rights. It’s a one way street.

PS: I am fully aware that the 1st amendment regulates criminalizing speech of private citizens by the government. I’m using the right’s own perverted definition to point out their hypocrisy (for all the good it’ll do).

  12. What do you call a grown man politician that cant face a 15 year old ?

Starts with “snow”…ends with “flake” ?

  13. I find it shocking and rather unfortunate that someone younger than me has decided to go to this event expecting answers and was kicked out for asking them.

This is not a good sign of a leader. We should encourage asking difficult questions because we need to know if our leaders can make difficult decisions! The state of politics is both shameful and inept and I worry about the longevity of democracy the longer we put fools in charge.

  14. Just stick to what you know! You’re only 15! You can’t be anything! – the GOP probably

  15. It’s simple:
Republicans are inept, corrupt and incompetent liars.
    Everyone sees this.
    Kids point it out.
Therefore, “get this kid out of here, he’s making us look bad.”
Unfortunately, in actuality THEY are making themselves look bad.

Now the rest of the country needs to be just as incisive and hold the GOP to account, just like this kid.

The emperor has no clothes. And winter is coming!

  16. He doesnt even ask tough questions he just (rightfully) keeps following up on them.

  17. To the GOP, 15 years old is old enough to go work in the coal mines!

Of course the GOP kicked him out, they can’t even take tough questions from regular people. Much less tough questions from a kid.

  18. Must’ve not had a gun to deal with this teenager. Kids are so scary these days.

  19. They are afraid because they know that the incoming voting generation isn’t falling for their bs. What do you think so many of the traitors wanna raise the voting age?

  20. Let me guess:

“you’re just too young to understand!”

Same story every generation. And I always used the response of “Then explain it to me in a way that I would!” And they can’t. They can’t.

  21. Awww they need another little safe space. Mean tweets good tough questions bad. Id love to read the comments at r/conservative

  22. Just remember, in three years, that fifteen year old will be able to vote.

And if you can’t answer to them now, you will then, GOP.

  23. These are hard times to be a Republican.

    The kids are asking questions.

  24. And there you have it…there will be no tough questions; specially from smart kids…by the time this poor kid can vote our country will be a dirty kitty litter box.

  25. Been saying it for years the average high school student is far more intelligent than a smart conservative

  26. there is nothing on this earth more horrifying than a teenager with a question.

  27. Imagine being terrified of a 15 year old kid as a grown man and trying to convince voters you’re tough lmao

  28. GOP: We want the younger audiences of the next generation

*Person from younger generations asks a question either too hard for GOP or stands against their platform*

    GOP: fuck you, next one

  29. That 15 year old is smarter than who’s running the country now! Let him have a seat!

  30. GOP-We don’t want well educated people for our voting base.

  31. Land of the free huh. Home of free speech. Bunch of arrogant hypocrites

  32. What a bunch of soft fucking people. Won’t take a question from a teenager. Imagine that, not facing tough questions from the electorate.

  33. “So how are you going to be an effective and honest leader?”

“Oh yeah!! Well my moms going to call your mom and have her not let you come over anymore!!!”

  34. They really arent tough questions.

It’s just hard to answer when your entire persona revolves around pandering to a specific group.
