Probably not going to go to Gaza. The US traditionally has not sent its military to take part directly in Israeli-Arab wars. They’re probably intended to reinforce US positions elsewhere in the region in the case Iran decides to expand the war.

Seriously I will never understand what’s going on in the head of the us military, I am not talking about Biden or any leaders I understand their benefits from supporting Israel but after all the dead us citizens from the Iraq war and after everyone being aware how a huge mistake it was and how many Americans lost their lives there American soldiers are still willing to go over to the middle east to die and leave their families for a war that isn’t even relative to their jobs, I know this may be a stupid point of view but if I am a solider my job is to protect my country and my people why would I agree to risk my life in a war that doesn’t threaten neither my country nor my people and risk making my kids grow up without a father and my family going through all this shit like people look at history and say wow that was a stupid mistake and proceed to do the same thing again
