If Israel backs off, Hamas will know that this tactic works. They will do it again in a year or so – crossing over, slaughtering anyone they see, kidnapping some, running back to Gaza to hide behind civilians, and yelling Israel is killing civilians. Rinse and repeat.
There’s no way out of this unless Hamas is completely destroyed. And Iran who funds all these terrorists should be labeled a terrorist state.
