  2. Going to look very silly when nothing happens at all. Preemptive action makes little sense when the whole thing that caused the controversy for Iran hasn’t even started yet. The Gaza operation that is.

    Iran likes to announce its preemptive surprise actions only when those actions are definitely not taking place but they still want some credit for it.

  18. Bring it! Won’t be as effective if just Hamas is eradicated, so Hezbollah needs to cease to exist too. It would probably bring peace between Lebanon and Israel. The US carrier strike group is there for support!

  19. I’m not an Iran war monger and hate the cliff we seem to be inching towards, but the Ayatollah is an asshole-a and that regime needs to go. Would solve a lot of problems (albeit be shitty for Shiites) and absolutely fuck Russia up and isolate Putin even more

  21. Iran has always used proxies to fight its wars. Right now they’re trying to take advantage of Israel’s vulnerability. They could care less about Gaza. They just don’t want to lose a pawn. If Israel properly eradicated Hamas to the point it would take decades to recover, then pressure on Hezbollah would begin to ramp up.

  22. All my life I’ve heard how amazing Hezballah was for fighting off Israel and that they’ve always been there for the people. They are condemning our people to death if they do anything.

    Lebanon is such a beautiful country with such an incredible history, it will be reduced to shambles if they do anything.

  23. I feel awful for the youth of Iran. They have shown that a large percentage of the citizens want to just live their lives and, like in every country, they stand against the leaders and their bullshit.

  24. Oh, *fantastic*. Now Iran is jumping into the mix with their “resistance front” rhetoric. Maybe if they spent less time sponsoring terrorism and more time focusing on their own collapsing economy, their people wouldn’t be suffering so much. It’s always Israel’s fault, isn’t it? But hey, whatever distracts from the failures of their own regime, right? “Preemptive action”… Yeah, because that’s always worked out well in the past. I’ll be waiting to see this so-called “action” with a bowl of popcorn.
