Hey /r/unitedkingdom!

This is the second in my “landmarks” series of dioramas where I attempt to recreate real locations (instead of the medieval fantasy land I usually build for my D&D game). I was inspired by the amazing cliffs found at Dover and Beachy Head, and thought you folks might enjoy seeing one of your landmarks in miniature. I’d love to hear your comments (although I’ll likely be asleep here in the US when you see this). Thanks for looking!

  1. Nice rock. CaCO↓3 aka calcium carbonate, constituted from exoskeletons of plankton in warm shallow waters (tropical). Can metamorphosise to marble under great heat and pressure like limestone can too. Take it you know that though eh, guessing you have in interest in geology to produce a piece like that?

    Very nice. Impressed.
