>Called the “Growth Budget”, her suggestions are expected to propose similar ideas to those she announced while in office, including tax cuts and changes to corporation tax, income tax and national insurance.

>“We believe that the potential GDP per capita growth that could be unleashed as a result of regulatory reform is much larger than many have imagined.”

We are far beyond the point of politically disagreeing with them from an idealogical perspective. They are dangerous. Their incompetence has killed tens of thousands. Their economic policies have pushed millions into poverty. Their NHS, schools and prisons are crumbling on their watch. The police are infested with many sexually perverse criminals wearing the uniform. How anyone looks at the state of this country and will vote Tory at the next election blows my mind. Millions will, though.
As for Truss herself, I wouldn’t trust her to run a lemonade stand, the weird bug-eyed cretin.
Why resign then? Why not call a snap election?
