So hier is the thing. This guy opened my post and asked for money to get it back to me. I called Polizei Oetz 3 times and they are still looking for „a reason for a Anzeige“ I don’t know so well Austrian Regierung. But in Spain this is tortilla wrong and they should definitely make something to protect my data and my post?!? Or I’m Totally lost when police act like Foreigners don’t matter. Am I right? Wrong? What should I do. PLEASE HELP entschuldige für meine English. Kann ich nicht so gut Dialekt.

I’m not a lawyer. In my opinion, this should be case for “Unterschlagung” [https://www.jusline.at/gesetz/stgb/paragraf/134](https://www.jusline.at/gesetz/stgb/paragraf/134)
idk how smart it was to threaten him to call the police after he notifies you that your E-Card arrived in his post
Well most likely he doesn’t even have your ECard. As far as I’m concerned, the ECard comes in a RSB letter which means you have to sign a form that you received that letter. Therefore just ignore it. I guess that’s also the reason why the police won’t do anything.
Edit: Seems that I got that wrong. It doesn’t come in a RSB letter.
How did he get your contact info?
Bei tortilla wrong war ich raus 😂😂
da fehlt was von der Geschichte
> But in Spain this is tortilla wrong
Most Spanish thing I’ve read in a while
I hope this thread is tortilla a hoax. Is this your flatmate or why does he have your contact info?
He tried to do you a favour and you want to call the police?
Tortilla madrid story bro
What or who is Dreiseen Kassa? Only know zweite Kassa.
Probably the E-Card landed in his Post by MISTAKE and/or he just saw the postman deliver the letter to your postbox. And he was nice enough to tell you.
You threatened him with police when really your response should have been more like “how did you notice” or “thanks for telling me”.
so of course he is now making fun of you – thats why there is an emoji at the start. It is a joke! **God you deserve this so hard.**
**Edit: WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW: apologise to him with a Bottle of White Wine (no less than 15€) or a Case of Beer. The Austrian way of apologising. Tell him that you don’t know the language so well.**
(And yes I honestly expect this to have happened, if you think he opened your post just by what we see on the screenshot you are interpreting a LOT into this)
If you’re working in Kühtai try police station Silz.
Ah, r/Austria, liberal at day, and mocking foreigners at night.
Clownfiesta? Jemand bekommt deine eCard, informiert dich und soll dich nun bezahlen? Auf was hinaus genau? Du kannst dich bei der Polizei selbst anzeigen für “Zahlen oder Polizei.”…
Thats def tortilla wrong
Call the E-card company. The will deactivate the card and send you a new one. Cost nothing and it is fast.
First of all – who is he?
Seconds – you dont need to open the letter to know it’s the eCard.
This whole thing stinks – iam pretty sure we are missing a part of the story here.
