Reports show there were expected 20 helicopters being stored at the airfield about the time.

Now THAT- if true- would fit much more in the category of *”most devastating single loss by Russian aviation”* than the earlier claims of two helicopters and some ammo.
What sort of helicopters will be very interesting to find out in that case. Hopefully mostly Ka-52s. If it was only Ka-52s *(highly unlikely)* then it would represent a loss of almost *a fourth* of all the ones Russia have left.
