To me the “witch hunt” statement does both of the above, but the judge didn’t explain what she would consider a “smear campaign” so on its own it likely isn’t a violation. If he keeps doing it though, which he presumably will, Smith could go back to her and argue for a violation even if Trump isn’t using any specifically prohibited phrases.

Dude. He’s going to break all of his gag orders. The question is, what happens then? Unless there’s some kind of consequence, then there’s nothing to deter him. I don’t think there will be consequences, so it’s all empty threats until there are.

Very little will be done. Anything the judge does gives Trump and his lawyers a chance to appeal afterward, prolonging the sentence and casting down.
The judge did this in hopes that I could scare him to stop, or it publicly highlights his behavior so he cannot defend against it in the public realm.
Don’t hold your breath though – extremely unlikely we’ll see him thrown in jail over breaking this.
Still, if the case moves forward – it is EXTREMELY LIKELY he’ll be convicted.
Throw his ass in jail. Set the precedent already that a former (like it matters) president can be tossed in jail. It’s called the rule of law and no one is above it.
