  1. “She says there was no prior connection of any kind between Ms Murphy and Jozef Puska…”they were not known to one another.””

Once again WhatsApp group rumours (that were spread on here also before removal by mods) proven to be complete dangerous false bullshit.

    Other important evidence:

“She says: “Mr Puska also said: “I’m sorry, I family, five kids…

“When she pass, I cut her, I cut her neck, she panic, I panic, will I go for ten years?”

Ms Lawlor says that at that stage gardaí didn’t know how Ashling Murphy had died.

Anne-Marie Lawlor says: “In the course of engagement with gardai, prosecution say they have what amounts to an admission through an interpreter, when he said: “I did it, I murdered, I am the murderer”.

He also said he didn’t do it intentionally and “I feel guilty” … “I’m sorry”… gardaí noted what was said.”

  2. This turned into such a dreadful circus when it first occurred, I really hope the trial doesn’t turn out the same way.

  3. **”Anne-Marie Lawlor says in her opening speech to jurors “you will hear that his DNA was found under fingernails of Ashling Murphy … forensic scientists will explain a YSDR profile, which is a shorter profile, but is a match and there is a 1/14,000 chance that it was someone else…these are the significant features of the evidence”**

Hmmmm, the defense will concentrate on the validity of the science here. This is not as watertight as I thought.

  4. Such a cruel and violent death. My heart goes out to her family and friends. The trial will surely be a very tough time for them now, just more heartache and more despair.

  5. Lads please just let the courts do their thing. The more and more people talk about this the more likely you’re going to give your man a mistrial. Talk about it after.

  6. This story is absolutely heartbreaking. Hopefully the full weight of the law is applied to the individual(s) responsible.

  7. It shouldn’t have happened. The poor girl.

Some people are just beyond beyond.

  8. yeah, a daily blow by blow account of this trial is not something we should pursue. if you are interested, read the verdict. it’s awful that this girl’s death is being commodified now to sell newspapers and podcast reenactments. and no doubt the ‘culture war’ shite will raise its head again. poor girl – let her rest.

  9. >”You can watch it and decide but what I suggest is there was an aimless meandering around Tullamore for an hour and a half and then…on two occasions he is cycling behind close proximity to two women …one unaware … the second woman noticed him moving slowly behind her and altered her movements … she saw him again at the canal at 2.17pm.

Jesus that’s grim, imagine how those women feel knowing what came after.
