Many of you might’ve heard about this morning’s attack at the Berdyansk airport (temporarily’s occupied territory of Ukraine). The Russians are posting the the debris found at the airport with many RU helicopters (including KA-52 and Mi-8) have been destroyed. What are these missiles, any guesses?

  1. About time. I hope Ukraine also gets those Russian fighter jets that bombed Kherson.

  2. The second photo looks like an M74 submunition. Those are indeed used in ATACMS.

  3. Russian authorities said the attack failed and the rockets were intercepted…

  4. cluster atacms have finally entered the playing field it seems

  5. Giving RZ units a combat facial! Слава Україні!

  6. That first picture looks like some kind of light reflector and it’s housing. We have comparable lights at our work.

  7. I get the impression from the comments, Ukraine is adding Tabasco to their artillery rounds. Special Tabasco. Ukraine’s friends are going nowhere. Ukraine’s enemies wish that wasn’t true.

To victory and beyond. Slava Ukraini. The enemies of freedom and democracy are ultra-fucked imo. But none of this happens — none of it — if Ukrainians themselves did not immediately stand up.

Sorry Ukraine, this goes on your permanent record ;P

  8. THAT right there is a “Steel Rain” dropplet… That’s what the Iraqi soldiers used to call the cluster munitions during the Gulf War.

  9. How many helicopters is many helicopters destroyed?

  10. It’s a great result either way, but I will be extra happy if this is the first in a series of ATACMS strikes.

  11. Best not to do the intel for the russians, looks like it was cigarrettes that caused it.

  12. There’s a little Russia smeared on the concrete in the first pic. Lol

  13. I love these sort of announcements… No press. No “we’re going to supply..” etc.

Just a clear, practical application that announces their use.
