Difficult to tell. The colour of the body and the shape of the head are important. If the head is shaped like an arrow tip and the body has a brown-yellow pattern, stay away.
From a first look, it doesn’t look like a φίνα which is the only snake species on the island that is dangerous to humans because of its venom. Other species that have venom (e.g. σαΐττα) are not lethal, and don’t pose a threat.
From its size, colour (somewhat, you are too far away and in shade) and head shape, it looks like [hierophis cypriensis](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyprus_whip_snake) which is completely harmless.
In order to make sure, did you catch exactly what colour/colour pattern it had? Also, what’s the habitat around your house (near a stream, forest etc)?
I thought it was a politician for a second until your camera auto focused my bad!
Gara yilan they are mostly harmless.
