  2. 5 countries for ceasefire: China, Gabon, Mozambique, Russia, UAE

    4 countries against: France, Japan, UK, US

    6 countries abstained: Albania, Brazil, Ecuador, Ghana, Malta, Switzerland

    And if I’m reading this right, the reason it’s blocked is ‘cuz of lack of Hamas condemnation + political verbage in regards to the blame game of Israel / Hamas.

  4. It is so bizarre how 99% of those advocating for ceasefire are completely omitting hamas from all this picture. In their eyes, it’s only Israel that has to stop fighting against terrorists, and should just turn another cheek and take the beating. Well, lucky for Israel they have the will to fight, unlike EU politicians who do fuck all.
