Thank god they at least said yes when Bush wanted baltic’s in NATO in 2004.
Or could be a nice solution but the limits need to be precisely defined.
If Lugansk People’s Republic (ahem, with some external support) decides to conquer Kharkiv and NATO says “well, they’re not included”, that won’t make sense.
I am pretty sure, he shares the unofficial opinion from (some) members of the alliance. Anders Fogh Rasmussen is not the type of guy, who would publicly share his opinions about what NATO should or shouldn`t do. Quite a strange timing.
