“damage has happened at a similar time and in physical proximity … to the damage that was previously reported to a gas pipeline between Estonia and Finland and a telecommunications cable between Estonia and Finland.”
I haven’t heard much about the pipeline incident since it happened.
If I remember correctly, the cable and the pipeline were located next to each other, both were dammaged by the same incident (as next, and next means next, to each other).
Big brain move by little putin here. Make sure Sweden doubles down on wanting joining nato.
Its almost like threatening countries never gets them to do what you want….
Time to sweep the baltic
Just for clarity, as people seem to mix these up easily, this is a list of the different gas pipeline and telecommunications cable incidents.
* Gas pipelines Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 (26 September 2022)
* Gas pipeline Balticconnector and telecommunications backup cable operated by Finnish telecommunications company Elisa (reported 10 October 2023)
* A telecommunications cable between Sweden and Estonia (reported today)
Looks like Ivan’s still dragging that massive anchor around the seabed.
Time to close lake NATO
I dont want it, but it looks like I’ll experience war soon.

What is Russia hoping to gain here?
