Reminds me of the time i ordered rabbit in a country inn. The menu stated that they were freshly shot and might contain lead pellets. They weren’t kidding either.

The Belgians they use to flavour the waffles are obtained by mining Mechelen, bazookering Braine-l’Alleud, and throwing grenades in Genk (they pick backwaters so the news is unlikely to get out) – using long-range, little-need-for-accuracy, weapons as they are wasted on the Trappist Ale when they go over and do it.
While there is the risk of shrapnel getting into the desserts due to the choice of weapons, using proper Belgians is just so much better than using imitation Belgian flavour made from Dutch people shot while slightly sozzled on Heineken (obviously you can’t use the French as imitation Belgians – the Onion and Garlic they marinade themselves in is not suitable for dessert).
