I mean, I do know what I’m getting in for with unhealthy snack choices. There are also stickers on the back over the nutrition label, but that at least makes sense as they need to convert the US label to the UK standard display right? What’s with the front?

  1. It’s because the FDA wrote that and their information isnt valid over here, there has to be a UK label

  2. I have been sugar-free for ages for health reasons but that delicious sexy looking white pumpkin is calling to me, om nom nom…

  3. I live abroad and they do the same here for stuff imported from the US, I think it’s just the fact that they have more leeway there when stating the calories of an item (they’re permitted to round it down to a certain extent) which makes the nutritional info null and void outside of the US. So it ain’t Sainsbury’s fault lol.

  4. It’s the same the other way round. For example there’s a Canadian nutrition information sticker over the British one on the goodies I purchased from a British shop in BC.

  5. There imperial calories from America not good old metric UK calories

  6. It’s to meet labelling regulations for the UK. Nothing sus about it.

  7. There will likely be a sticker over the ingredients and “Nutrition facts” due to different labeling laws in the USA

  8. It’s always funny when UK supermarkets have to put stickers over the lies that are tolerated in the US.

  9. oh, but they do taste glorious. thanks for the reminder to buy some more!!
