  1. There’s no way these dickheads wouldn’t cry loudly if everyone started saying Lizzy definitely used to finger her corgi’s arseholes while flicking her bean.

  2. Roll up roll up, get your daily outrage! All for the low low price of a click!

  3. Well that’s good to know so we can’t offend him by calling him a Dickensian spectre haunting a fucking legislature.

  4. Factually correct but utterly tone deaf and failing to understand the problem, as usual.

  5. Funerals don’t comfort the dead either. We still have them, because its not about the dead, its about the still living.

  6. I’m just not sure what he actually brings to the table, and why he’s still around?

    Also, he’s clearly gay.

  7. As the Ghost of Christmas Cancelled, he’d certainly know.

  8. That’s really good that GB News had a discussion about hate-crimes with the people who are most likely to encourage them. Next week, join them as they discuss racism with the BNP.

  9. So can we all just accept at this point the Tories aren’t even trying to *pretend* that they consider trans people subhuman?

They can’t even respect us in death, never mind in life. Their end goal has always been eradication, they’re just getting more brazen about it.

And all the fucking fence sitters both out in the world, and here on this subreddit, who go “oh how terrible” and then do nothing about it because it doesn’t affect them, you will not be guilt free if you sit back and watch it happen.

Not even going to dignify the inevitable transphobes who roll into every one of these threads to dismiss us as hyperbolic, or handwave these things away. The goal is genocide, the fact they’re going about it “civilly” doesn’t change that and if you’re still trying to claim this country isnt institutionally transphobic you’re either a cunt or a moron

  10. Going to enjoy watching this test lose his seat next election. Mind you he will probably bottle it and not stand.

  11. Good, glad we agree.

In that vein, Jacob, Thatcher was a vile, loathsome old hag, fuelled entirely by her own bile and her reputation as a wide-despised Prime Minister is well-deserved. I trust that there will be no pearl-clutching from the Conservative Party when I say that?

  12. Nobody is being accused of libelling Brianna Ghey, are they? They are being accused of a crime against her family (harassment or whatever it might be), and it is being suggested that because of the element of open, overt, motivating transphobia, this should be classed as a hate crime. So why is he wittering about libel? I suspect it’s something to do with “you can’t libel the dead” being a principle highly valued by journalists, but whether it’s a threat or an attempt at manipulation or a reminder which side their bread is buttered, I do not know.
